Hello, actors!
I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to introduce myself to you. My name is Andre Jackson, and I've had the privilege of spending over 20 years immersed in the world of acting, both on stage and screen. My journey as an actor, which began at the acclaimed American Academy of Dramatic Arts, has taken me from the bright lights of Broadway to the sets of network television. I've been fortunate enough to receive awards and recognition for my work along the way.
In addition to acting, I’ve also carved out a career as a professional screenwriter, currently working with CBS/Paramount and NBC Universal television studios. Over the years, I've had the chance to coach and cast some of the best new artists on stage and screen. Through these experiences, I've developed a deep understanding of what it takes to deliver a compelling performance.
My passion for acting is at the core of everything I do, and I’m eager to share it with my students. I believe in the power of truthful and honest performances—those moments when an actor fully connects with their character and the audience in a way that feels both real and transformative. This is the technique I emphasize in my teaching, helping each of you discover and hone your own unique voice as an actor.
Even as I continue to work on television and Broadway, my greatest joy comes from guiding the next generation of actors. I look forward to helping you uncover your potential and bring your characters to life in the most authentic way possible.
